The Chicha Shack was founded by Mohamed Ali in Spring 2004. Being away from my hometown of Beirut, Lebanon, I missed a lot of things including the Chicha cafes there. As a seasoned Chicha smoker and a business Student at Iowa State University, I decided to open a Chicha Cafe' in campus town to bring a flavor of home into my new home, Iowa. Since then the Chicha Shack has continued to grow as many have enjoyed this unique experience.
